What is a Build?

A Build is a custom configuration for a personal computer. When you configure a computer on various vendor sites (Dell, HP, etc.) you're creating a build.

Who Cares About Builds?

DIYers, computer/tech enthusiasts, people who like to save money, people who want the best computer for their money and people who aren't afraid of using a screwdriver.

Why slickBuilds?

We love building our own computers and know that it can sometimes be a tedious process finding, researching and configuring the best build to fit one's needs. Forums are great to get specific advice but a pain to comb through. We want to make the configuration process collaborative and simple so even novices can easily build great computers on their own.
